Sacha van Mil (b. 1999) visual artist, based in Breda, The Netherlands
Intrigued by internal and personal experiences, I create intimate worlds that portray the enigmatic aspects of the self. My work emanates from a poetic narrative approach, conveying mood and emotion more so than a mere display of knowledge. Nature serves as my storytelling medium. Within my visuals, nature shapes a realm where symbolism resides, allowing for personal associations to emerge. By experimenting with the timeless elements of analogue photography, a deliberate and contemplative technique, I recontextualize these traditions in a fresh perspective.
